Accordance Bible Software V8

I just happened to check the Accordance website this morning before heading out the door and they had posted on their??Blog??the highly anticipated upgrade to Version 8 was now available.

I purchased right away because one of the long awaited features that made it into the final production model was the ability to change the text display and background to a custom color. Also the leading of the text was now adjustable. This may not sound like that big a deal compared to the other features like the new and very powerful search features as well as the fact that it is now universal. But for me, the readability prior to v8 has limited it’s use. I’m a designer during the day and spend roughly 8-10 hrs per day on the computer. By the end of the day, my eyes are too tired and I find the stark white background with glaring black text to be too much. I would limit my use of Accordance to searches only and not for reading for any extended periods of time. With v8??I can finally enjoy reading directly in Accordance. This is huge because the software is so incredibly powerful! It takes the study of the Bible to another level. Now to find my favorite color choices…
